SAFETY WARNINGS
PLEASE READ THIS USER GUIDE CAREFULLY BEFORE INSTALLING THE CHILD SEAT AND FOR FUTURE
REFERENCE.
Take the time to carefully read through these instructions, for the protection of all vehicle occupants.
In the case of an emergency stop or an accident, persons or objects which are not properly secured in the car
can cause injury to other vehicle occupants. For this reason, please always check that:
•
The backrests of the vehicle seats are locked (e.g. that the latch on a folding rear seat bench is engaged).
•
Luggage and other sharp or heavy objects should be firmly secured in the car. Loose objects may injure
the occupants of the car in the event of an accident.
•
All persons in the vehicle have their seat belts fastened.
•
The child safety seat is always secured in the car via the ISOFIX anchoring and the Top Tether, even when
there is no child in the seat.
•
It is recommended that the device should be changed when it has been subject to violent stresses in an
accident
•
Warning: Do not make any alterations or additions to the device without the approval of the competent
authority
•
DANGER: Follow closely the installation instructions provided by the child restraint manufacturer;
•
When using the ISOFIX child restraint system you should read the car manufacturer’s handbook
•
Child safety seat must only be used to secure your child in the vehicle. It must never be used as a seat or
toy in the home.
•
Use the child seat only as described in these user instructions.
It is recommended that:
•
The child restraint must not be used without the cover.
•
The seat cover should not be replaced with any other than the one recommended by Childhome, because
the cover constitutes an integral part of the restraint performance.
•
The more snugly the harness fits over your child‘s body, the safer your child will be.
•
Please do not ever leave your child unattended in the child safety seat in the vehicle.
•
Use on the rear seat: Move the front seat forward far enough that you child‘s feet cannot hit the backrest
of the front seat (to prevent risk of injury).
•
The inside of the car can get very hot when it is exposed to direct sunlight, therefore it is advisable to
cover the child seat up when it is not in use. This prevents the parts, especially those that come into
contact with the child, from heating up and burning the child.
•
Only allow your child to enter and exit the vehicle on the pavement side.
•
Make stops during longer journeys to give your child an opportunity to run about and play.
