Program Adjustments (CHI)
NOTE:
Only CHI adjustments
are STATION program specific.
All others are global.
These adjustments apply specifically to the
currently running program. If adjustment mode
was entered with FEEDER OFF shown in the
display, changing any of these settings will have
no effect.
These settings can be individually adjusted:
FAST
LSP
TORQ
LET
GAP
PACE (only works if pacing lights
included with machine. If no pacing
lights, it reads PMO and cannot be
changed.)

When CHI is chosen from the SELECT
ADJUSTMENT menu, the following displays:
FAST=10” LSP290 TORQ.08S
AIR.16S GAP-07” PACE=420
It is important to use care with the FAST
setting. Used properly, it can increase efficiency
of the unit by increasing throughput.
However, the FAST setting overrides the LSP
setting. Therefore, it if set too high, flatwork
can be damaged or torn by excessive spreading
speed/force.
It generally should be set so that it is 15”
smaller that the smallest piece that will be
processed.
Also, note that the PACE setting only has
meaning if the unit is equipped with the optional
pacing light.
Refer to the table below for information about
each available function to use as a guide in
making adjustments.
