WARNING
The unit must be properly
grounded to ensure
operator safety.
Make sure the other end of the ground wire
is connected to a proper earth ground.
Close and latch the right endframe door
after all electrical connections have been
made.
CAUTION
Do not attempt to start the
unit at this time. Leave the
disconnect switch set to OFF.

Feeder/Ironer Interlock (Option)
If the unit is
not
equipped with the optional
interconnected stop circuit, follow these steps to
ensure that the spreader/feeder will automatically
shut down when the ironer does.
Required Tools
screwdriver, drill/drill bits, fittings
In the ironer, locate the run circuit.
Install a NC SPDT control relay of ap-
propriate voltage and wire its coil to the
ironer run circuit.
NOTE: Make sure the wiring is
secured and protected to prevent
damage and a tripping hazard.
Use conduit if necessary. Follow
local codes at all times.
Determine the best way to bring the two
wires from the relay’s normally closed
contacts to the inside of the left endframe
of the spreader/feeder.
Open the left endframe door to the
spreader/feeder and connect the wires to
terminals 9 and 10 of the terminal block
(Figure 2-20).
Close and secure the left endframe door.
