Reinstall and securely tighten the drive T
(Figure 7-72) mounting bolts.
NOTE: A f t e r m a k i n g t h i s
adjustment, immediately perform
the Tighten the Drive Blocks
procedure which follows.

Tighten the Drive Blocks
CAUTION
This is a critical adjustment.
Failure to keep the drive
blocks tight against the
drive T can lead to
cascading problems.
NOTE:
This procedure is best
performed with two workers.
Required Tools
metric Allen wrenches
Perform only when the unit is OFF
with power disconnected.
If necessary:
Turn power OFF at the main discon-
nect switch.
Turn OFF the compressed air supply
to the unit.
Make sure the compressed air system
is depressurized.
Pull the station’s transfer clamp assem-
bly toward the center of the machine.
Pull the carriage assembly to the front of
its stroke.
At the front of the machine, disconnect the
forward rodless air cylinder air hose by
pressing in on the orange plastic ring and
pulling out on the hose (Figure 7-73, A).
Remove the four screws which secure the
rodless air cylinder to its mounting bracket
(Figure 7-73, B).
