Spare Tire Information
The tire pressure data refers to cold
tires.
Always inflate the spare tire to the
pressure specified for full load.
Incorrect tire pressures will impair
safety, vehicle handling, comfort and
fuel economy and will increase
tire wear.
{
Warning
If the pressure is too low, this can
result in considerable tyre
warm-up and internal damage,
leading to tread separation and
even to tyre blow-out at high
speeds.
Tire Pressure Monitor
System
This vehicle may have a Tire
Pressure Monitor System (TPMS).
Caution
Modifications made to the Tire
Pressure Monitor System (TPMS)
by anyone other than an
authorized service facility may
void authorization to use the
system.
Maintaining manufacturer's
recommended tire pressure is part
of best practices to optimize the fuel
consumption of the vehicle.
The Tire Pressure Monitor System
(TPMS) uses radio and sensor
technology to check tire pressure
levels. The TPMS sensors monitor
the air pressure in your tires and
transmit tire pressure readings to a
receiver located in the vehicle.
The tire pressure monitoring system
checks the pressure of all four
wheels once a minute when vehicle
speed exceeds a certain limit.
