between  the  brake  pedal  and main  cylinder push  rod.

2.  Turn  eccentric  bolt  as  required  to  provide  correct 

adjustment.  Movement  of  pedal  pad  before  push  rod 
contacts  main  cylinder  piston  must be  1/16"  to  1/8" 
(fig.  17).

NOTE: 

Eccentric  Adjustment  bolt  should  be 

installed  with  projection  in down position before 
adjustment.

3.  Tighten  locknut  on  eccentric  b o l t   and  recheck 

movement.

1.  Loosen  locknut  on  adjustable  push  rod  between  the 

brake pedal  and  main  cylinder push  rod.

2.  To  obtain  correct  clearance  between  the  push  rod and 

the  main  cylinder  or  air  brake  control valve,  adjust 
the  push  rod  so  that  the  free  travel  measured  at  the 
center  of  the  pedal  is  .06  to  .25  range  for  standard 
main  cylinders  or  without frame  mounted vacuum  or 
air booster.
