Installation

1. Assemble connecting link between lock unit and re

mote control unit.

2. Through access opening at bottom of door place re

mote control mechanism into installed position. Se

cure remote control unit to door inner panel loosely

with three screws (5, fig. 124). Secure lock unit (16,
fig. 124) to door edge with three screws.

3. Place handle with flat washer to remote control shaft

to the position marked prior to removal. Secure
handle to shaft with set screw.

4. Check operation of lock mechanism.

NOTE:

Remote control shaft unit can be shifted

slightly to door inner panel to provide adjustment.

When satisfactory adjustment is obtained, final

tighten three attaching screws securely (5, fig.

124).

5. Install access panel (8, fig. 124) to bottom of door.
