INSTALLATION MANUAL – BMT-70PM
Pole Mount Accessory for Adjustable Wall Arm and Tilt Bracket
WARNING: Before beginning installation of this product, carefully review the safeguards and precautions found on page 2 of this manual.
Unpacking
Unpack carefully. This is mechanical equipment and should
be handled with care. If an item appears to have been
damaged in shipment, replace it properly in its carton and
notify the shipper. If any items are missing, notify the
shipper. The shipping carton is the safest container in which
the unit may be transported. Save it for possible future use.
Service
If the unit ever needs repair service, the customer should
contact Chesapeake & Midlantic Marketing for a return
materials authorization (RMA) and shipping instructions.
Care and Maintenance
Perform routine maintenance to keep the unit dust free.
Model Designation
BMT-70PM Pole Mount for Adjustable Wall Arm and Tilt
Bracket; White
Description
The BMT-70PM accessory enables the BMT-52WAT, BMT-
70WAT, BMT-70SPA Adjustable Wall Arm, and BMT-70T45
Adjustable Tilt Bracket to be installed on a pole. The mount
is constructed of powder coated aluminum with stainless steel
straps. The straps enable installation on poles 3-
8” in
diameter.

4 x Nut, 1/4-20 Hex
Tools Required
5/16 ” Socket & Driver
Phillips head screwdriver
Certification
Installation should be performed by a licensed professional
and conform to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and any
applicable local codes.
Installation
1. Remove unit from packaging.
2. Run network cable to installation site leaving enough
slack to allow cable entry through the mounts and
housing to the camera.
3. Attach wall mount to pole mount using fasteners supplied
in the pole mount hardware kit.
4. Run network cable through pole mount and wall mount
before attaching pole mount to pole.
5. Use strap kits provided to attach pole mount to pole.
6. Attach camera to wall mount per the instructions
included with the wall mount and camera.
