Wedge Mounting Accessory for Bosch™ 7000 Series Panoramic Camera
WARNING: Before beginning installation of this product, carefully review the safeguards and precautions found on page 2 of this manual.
Unpacking
Unpack carefully. This is mechanical equipment and should be
handled with care. If an item appears to have been damaged in
shipment, replace it properly in its carton and notify the shipper. If
any items are missing, notify the shipper. The shipping carton is the
safest container in which the unit may be transported. Save it for
possible future use.
Service
If the unit ever needs repair service, the customer should contact
Chesapeake & Midlantic Marketing for a return materials authorization
(RMA) and shipping instructions.
Care and Maintenance
Perform routine maintenance to keep the unit dust free.

10 DEGREE WEDGE FOR PANORAMIC
FLEXIDOME CAMERA
Description
The BMT-70A10 accessories enables the 7000 series panoramic
camera to be mounted at an angle to a flat surface. The mount is
constructed of powder coated aluminum with stainless steel
fasteners. This mount can be attached to a Single or Double Gang
Box or attached directly to a wall or ceiling.

Drill with appropriate size bit(s) for mounting fasteners
Appropriate tool(s) to tighten mounting fasteners
Mounting fasteners, customer-supplied
Certification
Camera installation should be performed by a licensed professional
and conform to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and any applicable
local codes.
Installation
1.
If installing this unit to a single or double gang box
a.
install the gang box according to its instruction manual
2.
If installing this unit directly to a wall or ceiling:
a.
Hold the mount up to the installation surface and use the
mount as a template to mark the hole locations.
b.
Drill out the mounting holes with an appropriate size drill
bit to accept appropriate customer-supplied anchors and/or
fasteners. Each fastener should supply a minimum 100-lbs
pull-out strength.
c.
Drill a central hole large enough to accept cables.
3.
Run cables to the installation site leaving enough slack to route
cables through mount to camera.
4.
Attach mount to installation site (see Figure 1).
5.
The Flexidome 7000 Series Panoramic Camera can be attached
directly to the mount or a VDA-70112-SMB surface mount box
can be installed between them. See Figure 2. Attach the black
Adapter Ring (included with 7000 Series Cameras) to the Wedge
(or surface mount box, if used) as shown in Figure 3. Note the
orientation of the fasteners for proper alignment.
6.
Route cables to the camera and attach camera to mount using
fasteners provided with the camera/surface mount.
