Remove Wheel
1.
M ake sure the vehicle is stopped on a
stable, level ground and front wheel
facing to the right ahead.
2.
Turn off the ignition switch.
3.
Please select P gear position for AT.
4.
Let passengers get off the vehicle.
5.
Use proper wheel stopp er to secure the
vehicle in order to avoid rolling or
sliding if necessary.
6.
Insert a flat screwdriver in the groove
between the steel ring and hub cap,
then carefully turn it and remove the
hub cap.
7.
Use special tool to unscrew the wheel
nuts as shown in the figure below.
1.
Place the jack and ensure the whole
seat located on a solid ground.
2.
The jack must vertically push against
the jack lift point.
3.
Lift the vehicle until the wheel
departures from the ground.
4.
Remove the wheel nuts and then take
out the wheel.
Instal l Wheel
1.
Push the wheel to the rim bolt, tighten
the wheel nuts clockwise and make
sure the wheel nut tip facing to the
wheel.
2.
Lower the vehicle and remove the
jack.
3.
Use the diagonal tightening method to
fully tighten wheel nuts in two or
three times (tightening torque:
110±10N•M ).
4.
There is a groove at the edge of hub
trim cover, align the groove with the
groove of hub, and then press the hub
cap by both hands with slight force.
5.
Collect the jack and failed wheel and
fix them.
6.
Do best to send the vehicle to Chery’s
special service station to check the
tightening torque of wheel nuts and
tire pressure.
7.
The spare wheel may not be used for a
long time, please charge the tire with
pressure slightly higher than the
normal tire pressure in order to keep
standard tire pressure of the spare
wheel.
