. Have the system checked by
an authorized Chery dealer. The dual
brake system provides a reserve brak-
ing capacity in the event of a failure to
a portion of the hydraulic system. Fail-
ure of either half of the dual brake sys-
tem is indicated by the Brake Warning
Light, which will turn on when the
brake fluid level in the master cylin-
der has dropped below a specified
level. The light will remain on until the
cause is corrected.
WARNING!
Driving a vehicle with an illuminated
brake system warning light and an anti-
lock warning light is dangerous. Part
of the brake system may have failed.
It will take longer to stop the vehicle.
You could have an accident. Have the
vehicle checked immediately.
9. High Beam Indicator Light
This light shows that the
headlights
are
on
high
beam. Push the Multifunc-
tion lever away from you to
switch the headlights to high beam.
Pull the lever toward you, to switch the
headlights back to low beam.
10 . Airbag Light
This light illuminates for
three to four seconds as a
bulb check when the ignition
switch is first turned ON. If
the light does not illuminate during
starting, stays on, or turns on while
driving, have the system checked by
an authorized Chery dealer.
11. Rear Fog Light Indicator Light
This light illuminates when
the rear fog lights are ON.
12. 4WD Indicator Light
This light illuminates when
the 4WD system is turned
ON.
13. Low Fuel Warning Light
This indicator lights when
the fuel level drops to no
more than 10 liters. The fuel
gauge pointer will be in the
red area. When this indicator lights,
you should fill the fuel tank as soon as
possible.
14. Fuel Gauge
The fuel gauge indicates the amount
of fuel the vehicle has in the fuel tank.
NOTE:
When the ignition switch is
turned to OFF, the fuel and temperature
gauges may not show accurate read-
ings. When the engine is not running,
turn the ignition switch to ON to obtain
accurate readings.
