SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS        

14.    This appliance is not intended of use by persons (including children) with reduced 

physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, 
unless they are closely supervised and instructed concerning use of the appliance 
by a person responsible for their safety. Close supervision is necessary when any 
appliance is used by or near children. Children should be supervised to ensure that 
they do not play with the appliance.

15.    Turn the appliance OFF, then unplug from the outlet when not in use, before 

assembling or disassembling parts and before cleaning. To unplug, grasp the plug 
and pull from the outlet. Never pull from the power cord.

16.    Avoid contacting moving parts.
17.      The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause 

fire, electric shock or injury.

18.    Do not use outdoors.
19.   Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter.
20.  Do not let cord contact hot surface, including the stove.
21.   Do not use an extension cord. Plug charger directly into an electric outlet.
22.   Use only with the charger provided with the appliance. Do not attempt to use this 

charger with any other product. Likewise, do not attempt to charge this appliance 
with any other charger.

23.    Do not incinerate this appliance even if it is severely damaged. The batteries can 

explode in a fire.

CAUTION: 

Corkscrew is sharp. Handle carefully. Keep hands and utensils out of 

the container while operating to prevent the possibility of severe personal injury 
and /or damage to the product or property.

SHORT CORD INSTRUCTIONS

a.  A short power-supply cord is to be provided to reduce risks resulting from 

becoming entangled in or tripped over a longer cord.

b.  Longer extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised in their use.
c. If extension cord is used:
 

1.  The marked electrical rating of the extension cord should be at least as great 

as the electrical rating of the appliance;

 

2.  If the appliance is of the grounded type the extension cord should be a 

grounding type 3-wire cord; and

 

3.  The longer cord should be arranged that it will not drape over the counter 

top of table top where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over.
