Troubleshooting Guide
The Companion Unit is not powering ON:
•
Make sure that you turned ON the power with your key and pressed the red power
button on the handlebar.
•
Ensure that the battery is fully charged (charger indicates a GREEN light).
The front wheel slips
–
spins in place:
•
The front wheel is too far from your wheelchair. Adjust the Companion Unit so that the
front wheel is as close as possible to the footrest. The Power Unit should be almost
vertical when the Companion is attached to your wheelchair.
•
When driving uphill, lean forward in your wheelchair to shift your center of gravity
forward.
•
Check the tire thread; replace if too worn out. Always start slow, in Speed Mode 1.
