
• PTZ Control Panel:
Use this icon to show/hide the full PTZ control panel.
• Setup:
Click on this icon to call up Setup dialog. An unlimited number of DVRs can be
added to the device list. General operations of this menu are defined below.
1. Device Name:
This displays the name of the DVR.
2. Address:
This defines the IP address or URL domain name for the DVR. This is the same IP as
the IP address (Static IP) or URL (PPPoE) on the Network Setup page of the DVR menu.
3. Control Port:
This defines the control port for the DVR. By default, the port is 67.
4. Data Port:
This defines the data port for the DVR. By default, the port is 68.
5. User Name:
This defines the username of the DVR.
6. Password:
This defines the password of the DVR.
7. Auto Connection:
This defines whether or not the DVR automatically connects when the
software is opened.
8. Connected:
This shows whether or not the PC is connected with the DVR device now.
If a DVR is connected, a V will show in the menu.
9. Properties:
Click properties to pull up the setup menu of the DVR.
• GPS Configuration:
Use this icon to open the GPS Configuration dialog. First, select the DVR. Then, select Display
attributes & Output attributes for Live & Playback. If Data Exchange is enabled, the corresponding
GPS data will be added to the file specified. Tag and Icon are used by GPS software such as
Google Earth for display purposes. If COM Port is enabled, the corresponding GPS data will be
fed out through the specified COM port of the PC. This data can be used as an input for a GPS
application such as Google Earth.
• POS Configuration:
Use this icon to open the POS Configuration dialog. First, select the DVR. Then, select Video
Window or Pop-up Window to display the POS data.
