General backup operations are described below.

Mouse: Left click) Use these buttons to select the desired menu or area.
• Copy Button:
(Mouse: Left click) Use this button to start a backup (copy) & to return to the
previous menu. There will be a Copy icon on the lower-right corner indicating that the selected
video/audio is being copied to the attached USB device.
• Stop Button:
Use this button to stop copying and return to the previous menu.
The Copy icon will disappear.
• Esc:
(Mouse: Right Click) Use this button to cancel, and return to the previous menu.
• Backup Device:
This is the USB storage device that you connected to the DVR. Press Enter
(Mouse: Left click) to open the Backup Device dialog. Use the +/- buttons on the right to select the
connected device.
• Backup Speed:
This defines the backup speed from 1-9, with 1 being the lowest speed & 9 being
the highest speed. Use the +/- buttons to change the value.
• Directory:
This defines the directory in which files will be stored. Follow the instructions on page
16 to modify the directory.
• Cameras:
This defines the cameras that will be backed up. Press Enter or +/- to select/deselect
each of the selectable cameras. If a camera with GPS data is selected, the GPS data will be
saved with the camera video in the same file. It is also possible to save GPS data separately.
• GPS File Format:
This defines the file format of the GPS data. The supported formats are TXT
and KML. Use the +/- buttons to select the value.
• End Time:
This defines the end time (Year, Month, Date, Hour, Minute) for the recorded
video/audio to be copied. Pres the Copy button to begin copying, Use the +/- buttons to modify
each field.
• Search Button:
Use this button move the playback slider bar.
