
Time Search
Follow the instructions below to use Time Search. The status field will show the ‘Recorded from’
time based on the selected time frame before searching. It will search for any Alarm, Motion, or
Video Loss event, if checked. Above the status field is the 24 hour time slider an alarm, motion,
video loss, & normal recording status (top to bottom).
General operations of this menu are defined below.

Mouse: Left click) Use these buttons to select the desired menu or area.
• Esc:
(Mouse: Right Click) Use this button to escape from the playback menu, and return to live
viewing.
• Play Button:
(Mouse: Left click) Use this button to start playback of recorded video/audio within
the selected search time frame. If no specific camera is selected, all the cameras in the current
live screen will be shown and played back at once.
• Copy Button:
(Mouse: Left click) Use this button to backup (copy) the selected type of recorded
video/audio starting from the Search Time (described below) from the HDD to the connected
backup device without review or playing back the video. This type of backup is performed in the
background. Using this method, you can use any other feature of the DVR.
• Search Time:
This defines the desired search time (Year, Month, Date, Hour, Minute) for the
recorded data. The playback or backup will start from the time entered here when the playback or
copy button is pressed. Use the +/- buttons to change the time values each item. It is also possible
to select the calendar on the left by pressing the Enter key, and selecting the time with the mouse
by dragging the slider icon. You may also use the ◄► or -/+ keys for more specific increments.
• Video/Audio:
This defines the specific type of search (Alarm, Motion, Video Loss, Normal).
Use the Enter button or the +/- buttons to check/uncheck each option.
