
PTZ Control
A variety of PTZ cameras are supported. An example of how to connect a PTZ camera is shown on
page 13 of this manual, as well as below. If a camera is also a PTZ camera, there will be an
asterisk (*) preceding its title in the video window in split-window display. Press the PTZ button to
enter PTZ control mode. The asterisk (*) will be changed to an inverted color to indicate that the
camera is now in PTZ controlling mode. General PTZ operations are defined below.
• ESC:
Use this button to exit PTZ control mode. The asterisk (*) will change back to a normal color.

Use these buttons to tilt the camera up, down, left, or right, or pan the camera.
• ZOOM:
( +/- ) Use these buttons to zoom in or out on the PTZ camera.
• GOTO:
Use this button to move the camera to a preset position. Use the numeric buttons 0-9 to
enter the number of the preset position you want to move the camera to. The available range of
preset positions are 00-254.
• NEXT:
Use this button to navigate to the next misc functions. The misc functions include Focus,
Iris, Auto PAN, SEQ, Preset, and Pan Speed. The active function will be shown on the lower right
corner of the screen.
