
3G Modem Setup
In the Network Setup menu, press Enter to call up 3G Modem Setup menu when the highlighted option
is 3G.
The 3G Modem Setup allows the administrator to set related parameters if a USB dongle 3G modem is
plugged into the USB port. General operations of this menu are defined below.

Mouse: Left click) Use these buttons to select the desired menu or area.
• Esc
: (Mouse: Right Click) Use this button to escape from the current screen, and return to the
previous menu. If the Save dialog is shown, press Enter to exit and save, or Esc (Mouse: Right
Click) to exit without saving.
• Username:
This option defines the username if requested by ISP. Follow the text input instructions on
page 16 to enter this username.
• Password:
This option defines the password if requested by ISP. Follow the text input instructions on
page 16 to enter this password
• Dial String:
This option defines the 3G dial command. Follow the text input instructions on page 16 to
define the Dial String.
• APN:
This option defines the (Optional) APN info. Follow the text input instructions on page 16 to
define the APN value.
• PIN:
This option defines the PIN associated with the SIM card used. Follow the text input instructions
on page 16 to define or enter the PIN.
• IP Address:
This option defines the 3G IP address of the system. To obtain the static IP address,
contact your local ISP (Internet Service Provider).
• Net Mask:
This option defines the Subnet Mask for the 3G IP address.
• Gateway:
This option defines the 3G Gateway IP address. The prioritized Gateway is (1) the Ethernet
Gateway and (2) the 3G Gateway.
• DNS:
This option defines the DNS (Domain Name Server) IP address for the 3G network.
