
Camera Setup
In the Setup Menu, use

to to navigate to the Camera menu, and then Use Enter
(Mouse: Left click) to call up Camera Setup menu. The Camera Setup menu allows the
administrator to define the attributes for each camera. The general operations of this menu are
described below:

Mouse: Left click)
Use these buttons to select the desired menu or area. The display will scroll left/right if the
selected item is not shown on the screen.
• Numeric:
(Enter)
Use these buttons to select the camera you want to modify.
• Copy:
Use this button to copy all settings, excluding detailed Motion settings & Video Loss settings,
Title/Audio of the current camera. For example, if focus camera is 3, its settings will be copied to
each of the other cameras.
• Esc:
(Mouse: Right Click) Use this button to escape from the current screen, and return to the
previous menu. If the Save dialog is shown, press Enter to exit and save, or Esc (Mouse: Right
Click) to exit without saving. The estimated total recording time (in days) will be shown in the
dialog when you exit.
• Title:
The title (Max. 16 characters) of this camera. Follow the Text Input method described on
page 17 to name each camera.
• Video Loss Settings:
This option is used to set the action settings when video loss is detected
for the corresponding camera. Press Enter (Mouse: Left click) to call up Video Loss Setup display
for the camera.
• Motion Detection:
This defines whether the motion detection feature of the corresponding
camera is enabled or disabled. (Note: this field has no effect on Smart Search).
Press Enter or +/- to check/uncheck this option as needed. By default, this option is checked.
• Motion/Mask Settings:
This option is used to set the privacy mask and motion settings, used for
Motion Detection or Smart Search, on this camera. Press Enter (Mouse: Left click) in Settings.
to call up Motion Setup for the camera. If Motion Detection is disabled, the default factory motion
settings will function normally for smart search.
