RAP 2.47 Jogger Retract Sensor
Input 12
The jogger retract sensor detects that the jogger
cylinder is retracted. The jogger must be re-
tracted before a book can be taken from home
position to the jogging station.

Initial Actions
Perform RAP 2.25 Jogger Cylinder to validate
operation of pneumatics.
Check for loose or broken wire 122 at the power
panel.
Procedure
1. Switch off the machine and check that the
jogger is fully retracted.
2. Switch on the machine and press A to enter
sensor data mode. Does the sensor data
screen display (12-1)?

Short wire 122 to 64 on the main PWB.
Does the sensor data change to (12-1)?
Y N
Disconnect main power and replace the
main PWB (REP 4.22 Main PWB Re-
placement).
Replace sensor (PL 5.16 Power Panel EE-
3306-1 (2/2)).
3. Disconnect wire 122. Does the sensor data
display (12-0)?
Y N
Disconnect main power and replace the
main PWB (REP 4.22 Main PWB Replace-
ment).
4. Adjust the sensor by first switching on the
machine and press A to enter sensor data
mode.
5. By hand, fully retract the jogger.
6. Loosen the sensor set screw and slide the
sensor across its groove until the sensor
LED switches on.
7. Tighten the sensor set screw to lock the
sensor in place.
