Cleaning the DSU
After use maintenance
Clean the DSU with a damp cloth.
Conduct a visual inspection.
Check the batteries.
Storage of the BA
Do not drop the cylinder or bump the valve knob.
Apply the following guidelines for safekeeping and storage.
Do not store the BA or spare cylinders within or near an area where the BA can or
might be exposed to any substances that will or might attack any part of it, causing
it to not perform as designed and approved.
Prior to storing the BA in a seat bracket ensure there is no interference between the
BA and the seat. Ensure the BA and cylinder can be removed easily without
damaging the components.
Do not store the BA with an empty or cylinder below 250 bar. Always install a fully-
charged cylinder so that the BA is ready for use.
Complete the inspection, cleaning and disinfecting procedures as prescribed.
Always store the BA clean and dry.
Ensure the facemask head harness adjustment straps are fully extended.
Do not
store any loose objects in the facemask bag.
Always store the facemask in bag.
