Appendix E: Camera Setup 

Webcam 

The webcam included with the UniVert system is used for recording images at up to 5Hz.  The 
UniVert will function with or without the camera plugged in. To setup the camera, follow these 
steps: 

1.  Before starting the UniVert software, plug the webcam into a USB port. 
2.  Thread the tripod into the mounting hole on the bottom of the camera. 

 

 

 

 

3.  Set the camera in the desired recording position using the flexible tripod. 

 

 

 

4.  Refer to the 

System Hardware Settings

 section for additional camera settings.
