Fitting and removing diamond saw blade
8.3.3.1
Requirements for diamond saw blade
The diamond saw blade to be used must have exactly the properties described in the
technical specifications of this machine (see Page 12: Product information > Technical
specifications).
Before using the diamond saw blade, check whether the diamond saw blade is suitable for
the purpose for which it is to be used. Only use the diamond saw blade in accordance with its
designated use.
With regard to the cutting result the choice of the correct saw blade is important for the
various materials to be cut.
Regarding the saw blade’s diameter, the following rule of thumb should be used: “The smaller
the blade or the lower the cutting depth, the less expensive the cut.”
The machine has been designed for cutting depths up to 410 mm (with a max. diamond saw
blade diameter of 1,000 mm). The individual cutting depths depend to a large extent on the
material to be cut (e.g. concrete quality, aggregates, etc.
As a basic principle, the cutting depth should be selected so that a minimum feed speed of

can be maintained.
