5.4 Lifting and setting down machine
Safety instructions: Only use suitable load lifting gear!
Sensitive parts are mounted below the machine. Lifting with a fork lift or lift truck is
prohibited.

The machine may only be lifted using the load lifting eyes.
Prerequisite:
•
The machine has been shut down (see Page 108: Operation > Daily shut-down).
Required:
•
Two persons to safely move the machine.
•
Suitable load lifting gear with a lifting force of at least 1,000 kg. (Please also note the
weight of any mounted attachments!)
•
Suitable suspension systems (for example, chain slings or webbing slings) with
a load-bearing capacity of at least 1,000 kg. (Please also note the weight of any mounted
attachments!)
WARNING
Falling of the machine due to inadmissible load lifting gear. The machine
is large and heavy. This makes it difficult to guide.
If the load lifting gear is not attached at the prescribed points, there is a risk of injury due to
unforeseen swinging, tilting or falling of the machine.
For lifting, attach the load lifting gear only at the prescribed point.
Only use suitable transport and load lifting gear.
Never walk under hanging loads.
Always wear suitable personal protective equipment:
- Safety shoes
- Safety gloves
WARNING
There are movable machine parts on the machine which must be
secured for transport.
If not properly secured, there is a risk of injury from uncontrolled falling, movable
machine parts.
Secure movable machine parts.
When transporting the machine, lash it properly and securely on a loading platform.
