3.6 Residual danger
The safety equipment of the machine effectively protects the personnel against injuries.
However, with some activities it is unavoidable to be within the danger areas. Residual
dangers cannot be completely excluded there. Wearing of personal safety equipment and
safety-conscious, foresighted behaviour of the personnel avoids dangerous situations.

Danger of injury:
Danger or crushing
when transporting
the machine
The machine is large and
heavy. There is a danger
of crushing during trans-

Safety shoes
•
Protective gloves
Only use suitable transport and lifting

Never walk under hanging loads!
Requirement sign on the machine:

Danger of injury:
Danger of crushing
when changing belt
During a belt change,
the belt pulley must be
turned and the V-belt
pulled off. There is a
danger of crushing in the
process.
Always wear protective gloves during
maintenance and repair work.
Danger of injury:
Malfunction | Unex-

the machine
During the set-up work
during a blade change,
the machine can start
unexpectedly. There is a

set-up work.
Danger of injury:
Malfunction | Splash

abrasive material.
Wear safety goggles during operation.
Conduct a visual inspection at regular
intervals and replace the splash water
guard if necessary.
Requirement sign on the machine:
Wear safety goggles.
