Introduction
The Safety Unit FSS is developed according to EN 13849-1
as Cat. 2, PL D control unit for light curtains with FSS output.
Together with the light curtain, it can be integrated into to all
door control units without test input.
The control unit has two outputs; one stop circuit and one
reverse contact. The stop output functions as the safety
contact. The stop circuit is closed as soon as the Safety Unit
FSS detects a clear signal from the signal input. If the signal
stops or an error is detected, the stop output relay opens the
contact.
The reverse contact switches the relay to close as soon as the
signal input detects a low signal. After a pulse length of 2 s,
the relay reopens.
Installation

Switch off main power to the door control unit and
mark clearly that this system is out of service before
performing any work on the system.

Connect the light curtain according to the electrical
connection.

Connect the Stop output with the control unit.

Connect the power supply to the U

connection bar.

Start-up the system.

Check the functionality.
