Bearing temperature control
Check the temperatures by referring to the standard basic manual relevant to
your fan model.
The following temperature checks are to be carried out:
10000 hours - (2 hour) - Measurement of bearing temperature with mobile
instrument
24 hours continuous - (0) - Measurement of bearing temperature with
installed probe
Caution: fan operation with high temperature values may
cause a failure on the bearings and can cause damage to
property or injury to people!

Vibration control
Check the vibrations by referring to the standard basic manual relevant to
your fan model.
The following checks are to be carried out:
3000 hours - (1 hour) - Measurement of vibrations with mobile instrument
24 hours continuous - (0) - Continuous measurement of vibrations with
installed probe
Caution: fan operation with high vibration values may
cause a failure on the bearings and can cause damage to
property or injury to people!
Caution: The levels of operation, alarm and block are dif-
ferent for ATEX fans from standard fans.
