specifies how long a remote boot should wait for the switch to enable the
port, such as when the switch port is using spanning tree protocol loop
detection.

to save the changes. Changes take effect after
a system reset.
Configuring FCoE Boot
FCoE general parameters include the following:
FIP VLAN ID
is usually set to
0
, but if the FIP vLAN ID is known beforehand,
you can set the value here. If a non-zero value is used, FIP vLAN discovery
is not performed.
Fabric Login Retry Count
Target Login Retry Count
options include:
Connect (1–8)
is
Enabled
or
Disabled
.
WWPN (1–8)
shows the WWPN in use (all zeros if the target is offline).
A
(+)
indicates that the specified target is online, while a
(-)
indicates
that the specified target is offline.
Boot LUN (1–8)
shows the boot LUN (0–255) that is used by the target
array.
To configure the FCoE boot configuration parameters:
1.
On the Main Configuration Page, select
FCoE Boot Configuration Menu
,
and then select the following as needed:
FCoE General Parameters
FCoE Target Configuration

Press ENTER.

Choose values for the FCoE General or FCoE Target Configuration
parameters.
