Configuring Port-level Parameters
Port-level configuration comprises the following parameters:
Boot Mode
DCBX Protocol
RoCE Priority
iSCSI Offload
FCoE Offload
PXE VLAN Mode
PXE VLAN ID
(appears when
PXE VLAN Mode
is enabled)
Link Up Delay
To configure the port-level parameters:
1.
On the Main Configuration Page, select
Port Level Configuration
, and then
press ENTER.

For
Boot Mode
, select values for the port-level parameters as shown in
. The available parameters will vary depending on whether you
are using a 25Gb, 40Gb, or a 100Gb adapter and what boot modes are
available.
PXE
enables PXE boot.
FCoE
enables FCoE boot from SAN over the hardware offload
pathway. The
FCoE
mode is available only if
FCoE Offload
is
enabled.
iSCSI (SW)
enables iSCSI remote boot over the software pathway.
The
iSCSI (HW)
mode is available only if
iSCSI Offload
is enabled.
Disabled
prevents this port from being used as a remote boot source.
