16.2. Getting back on board
A bathing ladder is accessible from the starboard sugar scoop.
Before going swimming, the ladder must be put in the water.
It is fitted with a strap allowing it to be deployed in the event of falling overboard
CAUTION
- When single-handed, you should have a system for boarding the boat permanently rigged while the
boat is anchored, moored, tied up or under way.
DANGER
The engines must never be put in gear if any swimmers are close to the boat to avoid any risk of
serious injury from the propellers.
It is recommended that the starboard engine be switched off whenever the bathing ladder is
deployed.
