Overview and Setup
EN-18
The “Power On Alert” function is a feature of the Digital Piano that is activated when the power is on but
the Digital Piano has not been used for approximately six minutes. The “illumination effect” is an effect
that is activated when the Power On Alert is active. The Power On Alert works only when the Digital
Piano is being powered by the AC adaptor.
The Power On Alert works as follows in accordance with audio input from a smart device (page
) connected to the Digital Piano via Bluetooth
®
.
•
If audio input is present (illumination effect is activated):
The LEDs on the front panel of the Digital Piano illuminate in time with the song.
•
No audio input (illumination effect is deactivated):
The display and all LEDs on the front panel of the Digital Piano will be off, and only the pitch bend
wheel will be lit.
When you perform any operation, such as touching a button or pressing a keyboard key, the Digital
Piano will return to its normal state. If you forgot to turn off the power, press and hold the
P
(Power)
button until “Bye” appears on the display to turn off the power.
•
When the Digital Piano is used with the AC adaptor and is turned on, briefly pressing the
P
(Power)
button causes it to immediately enter the same state as when the Power On Alert function is active. If
there is any audio input, the illumination effect is activated.
If the
P
(Power) button is pressed briefly while the Digital Piano is being powered by batteries, the
touch buttons will be lit and unlit in turn (the illumination effect is not activated).
•
If “SYSTEM” > “Power On Alert” is set to “Off” in the FUNCTION menu (page
), the “Power On
Alert” function will not work.
