Displaying Time Remaining

to an Alarm in the

Timekeeping Mode

If you have two alarms set, one for 10:00 a.m.
and one for 5:30 p.m., the alarm countdown
display in the Timekeeping Mode will appear
as described below.

Cycling Between Timekeeping Mode
Digital Display Contents

Home City time: 9:00 a.m.
The alarm countdown time until the 10:00 a.m.
alarm time (one hour) is displayed.

Home City time: 9:30 a.m.
The alarm countdown time until the 10:00 a.m.
alarm time (30 minutes) is displayed.

Home City time: 10:00 a.m. (alarm
sounding)
The alarm number (title) of the currently
sounding alarm is displayed.

Home City time: 10:00 a.m. plus 10
seconds
The alarm countdown time until the 5:30 p.m.
alarm time (7 hours, 29 minutes, 50 seconds)
is displayed.

Stopping an Alarm

Pressing any button while the beeper is
sounding stops it.

Determining an Alarm’s

On/Off Status

Turning on an alarm or the hourly time signal
causes the corresponding indicator to appear
on the display.

phone, the time and date can be adjusted with
the procedure below.

Navigating Between Modes

Setting a Home Time City

Use the procedure in this section to select a
city to use as your Home City. If you are in an
area that observes summer time, you can also
enable or disable summer time.

Note

The initial factory default summer time
setting for all cities is [AUTO]. In many
cases, the [AUTO] setting lets you use
the watch without switching between
summer time and standard time.

Hold down (A) for at least two seconds
until the name of the currently selected
Home City is displayed.

Use (D) and (E) to change the Home City.

Use (D) to select a summer time setting.

Each press of (D) cycles through available
settings in the sequence shown below.

[AUTO]
The watch switches between standard
time and summer time automatically.

[OFF]
The watch always indicates standard
time.

[ON]
The watch always indicates summer
time.

Press (A) to exit the setting screen.
