Saving the Configuration
Saving the Configuration
After setting the configuration parameters as required, you must save (commit) the configuration as a
configuration profile before it can be used. If you edited the running configuration, you can assign it a
new configuration number or use the current number.
Use the following steps to save your configuration.
1. Select Options from the Configuration menu. The
Configuration Options window displays.
2. Select the number you want to use for configuration profile from the
Save To
pulldown list and
click
Commit
.
Activating the Configuration
A saved configuration must be activated before it is used to control the operation of the system. If you
modified the running configuration, you must reactivate the configuration before the changes you made
take effect.
1. Select Options from the Configuration menu. The
Configuration Options window displays.
2. Select the number of the configuration profile you want to use from the
Activate Profile
pulldown list and click
Activate
.
