9 FiX1 Web application – Scans
The
Scan
page displays a history of recent scans, the last recorded volume and the scan tool for requesting an
immediate scan.
9.1 Scanning
FiX1 scans can be scheduled in advance through the
Schedule
page. You can also start a scan manually from the
Scan
page.
If any scans have been scheduled, the
Next Scan
frame shows the next scan that has been scheduled.
If no scans are currently running, press
Manual Start
to immediately start a scan.
The
Stop
button becomes active. Press
Stop
to cancel the scan at any point in the scanning process.
The
Next Scan
frame turns red and shows the title:
Active
.
Before the scan begins, the FiX1 progresses through an initialisation routine.
The
Active
frame displays:
Scanner Operation: Initialising Scanner
.
After initialisation, the scan begins.
The
Active
frame displays:
Scanner Operation: Scanning
.
As the scan progresses, the number of points that have been collected is displayed. For example:
Point Processed:
1820000
.
On completion of the scan, the FiX1 processes all collected data, creates a gridded surface and computes a volume.
During processing, the
Active
frame displays:
