4 Electrical installation
Risk of electrocution
Electrical installation must ONLY be performed by a qualified electrician.
Wear appropriate protective clothing / equipment during any maintenance
activity.
In this chapter, you can find information about the electrical wiring of the SBP2MCG324 and the
sensor/indicator.
4.1 Practical cabling techniques
Consider the following issues when installing the Dupline® bus cable.
1. Do not mount the Dupline® bus cable close to high voltage installations such as:
•
Motors.
•
High voltage cable.
•
Inverters.
•
Breakers.
2. Be sure that water cannot penetrate the Dupline
®
bus cable or junction boxes. Water can cause
poor connections and random activations of the sensors.
3. If the cable is installed close to high voltage cables or equipment, use a shielded cable.
