Setting Up the System

Pyxis MedStation 4000 System Console User Guide

Updating a user-privilege template

The following procedure explains how to update the information for an existing
template.

To update a template

1. Select

System Setup > Users

2. In the Users dialog box, click

Privilege Templates

3. In the User Template Selection dialog box, select the applicable template and

click

Edit

4. In the Edit Template dialog box, update the applicable information on each

tab.

5. Click

Save

6. You are returned to the User Template Selection dialog box.

Deleting a user

The following procedure explains how to delete a user.

1. Select

System Setup > Users

2. In the Users dialog box, select the applicable user and click

Delete

3. In the confirmation message, click

YES

CAUTION

Modifying a template affects privileges for all users assigned to that template.

NOTE

The Show Detail button provides a way to view the Privilege Template. You can
view the template but cannot make any changes.
