Disconnect the BitSetter 

Before beginning the Z-Plus upgrade:  

1.

 

Connect your machine to Carbide Motion. 

a.

 

Plug in your USB cable. 

b.

 

Open Carbide Motion.  

c.

 

Turn on your Shapeoko. 

d.

 

Click the Connect to Cutter button. 

2.

 

Click Settings in the top menu bar. 

3.

 

If you have the BitSetter checkbox checked, go ahead and uncheck it.  

You will need to re-setup your BitSetter after successful homing with your new Z-Plus.
