Examples of Types of Flights

1.1

Introduction

An example of an IFR flight from one major airport to another, and an example of a
VFR flight from a provincial aerodrome to a landing site, are given in graphic form in
this Chapter. The latter then changes to an IFR flight on departure again to illustrate
the differences between Deconfliction Service and Traffic Service (see Chapter 6).
The agencies are described in Figure 1.
