FUNCTION OF THE BUTTONS

AUTO (automatic switching between heating and cooling)

1. Press ON/OFF to start the air source heat pump.

2. Press MODE to select AUTO mode.

3. Press the Up/Down button to set the desired temperature. This can be set to between 17 °C – 30 °C (1 °C

intervals)

NOTE!

1. In AUTO mode the machine can detect the difference between the temperature of the room and the tempera-

ture set on the remote control and then selects Cooling, Fan or Heating modes.

2. The fan speed cannot be changed in AUTO mode.

3. To change mode from AUTO mode manually select the desired mode.

The unit controls the temperature automatically to the desired, set temperature.

NOTE!

Remember that in this mode the unit will automatically switch to cool mode (for example when the sun is shining

or when another heat source comes on). This can mean that the “free heat” is cooled down. Select HEAT instead

to avoid this situation and get maximum energy savings.

intervals)

4. Press Fan to control the fan speed to AUTO, Low, Medium or High.

In COOL/HEAT mode the outdoor unit will stop when the target temperature has been reached.

NOTE!

In fan mode the temperature cannot be controlled, which means that the up/down buttons are deactivated. The

set temperature is not displayed.

DRY

1. Press ON/OFF to start the air source heat pump.

2. Press MODE to select DRY mode.

3. Press the Up/Down buttons to set the desired temperature. This can be set to between 17 °C – 30 °C (1 °C

intervals)

NOTE! The fan speed cannot be changed in DRY mode.

If the room temperature is lower than 10 °C the compressor stops, starting again when the temperature rises

above 12 °C.

ADJUSTING THE AIR FLOW DIRECTION

HORIZONTAL AIR DEFLECTOR

Adjust the direction of the air flow using the remote control (SWING

)

The horizontal deflector changes the direction of the air flow by 6 degrees for each press of the but-

ton, or operates up and down automatically.

VERTICAL AIR DEFLECTOR

Adjust the direction of the air flow using the remote control (SWING        )

The vertical deflector changes the direction of the air flow by 6 degrees for each press of the button,
or operates left/right automatically.

ADJUST THE AIR FLOW WHEN THE UNIT IS RUNNING.

IMPORTANT!

Do not stick your fingers into the air intake. This can cause injury.

WARNING!

•

There is a delay of 10 seconds before the horizontal grille moves when you start the unit.

•

Do not adjust the horizontal grille manually, it will lose synchronisation with the program or the unit could be damaged.

•

Always ensure that the vertical ventilation grille is open when the unit is running.
