Leakage detector
•
The display will indicate “EC” when the outdoor unit detects leakage in the refrigerant circuit.
Memory function for the horizontal air deflector.
•
The unit remembers the movement and angle of the horizontal air intake. If the maximum angle is exceeded it reverts to the default
setting.
Self-cleaning
•
This function starts after the cool mode/dehumidification mode (COOL/DRY) has been shut down to clean the evaporator, keeping it
clean until the next time the unit is started. This is carried out by the unit running an automatic program that dries out the indoor unit.
NOTE! This function only operates in Cool and Dry modes. Before activating the function it is recommended that the unit be run in Cooling
mode for approximately 30 minutes. Once the function is activated all timer settings will be lost. When the function is running and the self-
clean button on the remote control is pressed again this mode is turned off automatically.
TURBO
•
The turbo function forces the unit to achieve the set temperature in the shortest possible time. If the unit is in cooling mode and TURBO is
pressed the unit will blow cold air at the highest fan speed. If the unit is in HEAT mode it will blow heated air.
USING THE REMOTE CONTROL
NOTE!
•
Ensure that curtains, doors and other objects are not blocking the signal from the remote control to the indoor unit.
•
The remote control must not be exposed to moisture/liquid.
•
The remote control must not be exposed to heat or direct sunlight.
•
The infrared receiver on the indoor unit must not be exposed to direct sunlight as this could cause it to malfunction.
•
Move other electrical equipment if it reacts to the remote control.
The remote control uses two AAA batteries located under the casing on the back of the remote control.
1. Remove the casing by pushing and pressing downwards.
2. Remove the old batteries and insert the new ones. Ensure that (+) and (-) are matched up correctly.
3. Replace the casing.
