Zooming
Zooming
You can operate the zoom (10x optical zoom) using the zoom ring on the lens.
Turn the zoom ring to zoom in and out.
NOTES
• If you turn the zoom ring too quickly, the camcorder may not be able to focus immediately. In such case, the
camcorder will focus after you finish turning the ring.
• If you set an assignable button to [
Digital Tele-conv.] (
A
97), you can press the button to activate the
digital tele-converter. Alternatively, if you customize the FUNC. menu to include [
Digital Tele-conv.] (
A
you can activate the digital tele-converter from the FUNC. menu. The digital tele-converter allows you to
digitally increase the focal length of the camcorder by a factor of approx. 2. Note that the image is digitally
processed so the image will deteriorate throughout the zoom range.
