4.3 Points to Note on Disassembly and Reassembly
4.3.1 Note on locations prohibited from disassembly

Locations that are prohibited from disassembly and cannot be adjusted outside of the factory have red screws instead of the regular-colored screws.
However, note that the color has been changed from the previous red screws.

4.3.2 Manual carriage movement

The carriage is moved by holding down the
button or
button on the operation panel for at least 0.5 seconds when the printer is offline. However,
when the power is turned off such as during assembly or disassembly, move the carriage by holding the knobs shown in the figure below.
Move the carriage as required during assembly and disassembly to prevent contact of the carriage with the parts that are removed.
The carriage does not move when capping has been performed. Refer to the procedures in DISASSEMBLY/REASSEMBLY > Points to Note on
Disassembly and Reassembly > Opening the Caps and Moving the Wiper Unit to remove the caps and move the carriage.
