Define usage of quality control sheets

What are quality control sheets

Quality control sheets

 are extra sheets that are used during a job to detect nozzle failures and to

clean the nozzles.

Configure nozzle failure detection

1. Open the Settings Editor and go to: [Preferences]

→

[System settings].

2. Go to [Nozzle failure detection] title bar.

3. Use the [Nozzle failure detection] option to enable the nozzle failure detection.

IMPORTANT

Be aware that the print quality strongly depends on the nozzle failure detection.

4. Click [OK].
5. Use the [Interval between quality control sheets (number of sheets)] option to define the

number of sheets after which a quality control sheet is printed.
When you decrease the interval, detection sheets are printed more frequently. Subsequently,
the printer can detect and correct nozzle failures more intensively. However, this affects the
job productivity.
