4. Resetting System Administrator Password
The system administrator is able to reset his or her password with an email
from the PRISMAsync to a recovery email address configured in the
Settings Editor. A temporary link is sent to the email address where the
System Administrator can enter a new password.
5. DocBox
Provides operators with a comprehensive means to store, group, edit and
reprint jobs. A DocBox can contain several Jobs (print jobs and scan jobs).
Jobs can be edited and stored within the DocBox.
Multiple DocBoxes can be set up (each with a unique name) and can be
secures with a PIN.
6. Remote Control App
The PRISMAsync Remote Control App for Android or iOS devices, is an
extension of the unique PRISMAsync productivity tools Job Scheduler and
Remote Manager, displays the status of PRISMAsync driven printers. The
Remote Control App provides real-time notifications when operator actions
are required or if a problem with the printer requires immediate action.
Remote Control App End-Users need to be registered by the system
administrator.
7. Role Based Configurable UI
System settings, job properties, queue actions, and user access can be
configured per user role. Disable/enable access to the function of the
Operator Panel, Settings Editor, and Remote Printer Driver.
Role-based login determines which tiles are available on the UI/Remote
Manager/Printer Driver. Disabled features are grayed out.
8. Embedded JDF/JMF Interface
Embedded JDF/JMF Interface allows connectivity to third party systems
such as CIP4- compliant MIS or Web-to-Print solutions.
9. User Authentication Security Extensions
Security extensions including user authentication by role or via LDAP-
based operator login and extended audit logging.
Security extensions enabling the system administrator to manage users on
PRISMAsync print server via the domain controller (LDAP integration) or
via local user management (on the PRISMAsync Print Server), based on
membership of role-based defined groups.
