Replacing ink tanks

1 Make sure the printer is switched on and open the

front cover.

• The Printhead holder moves to the centre

automatically.

2 Press on the tab of the empty ink tank to release it

and pull it out of the slot.

• Use only ink tanks specifically designed for

the S800 printer: BCI-6Bk, BCI-6C, BCI-6M,
BCI-6Y, BCI-6PC Photo, BCI-6PM Photo.
Other ink tanks are not compatible with the
Printhead.

• If more than one ink tank requires

replacement, remove and replace each
empty ink tank one at a time to avoid mixing
them and installing one in the wrong slot. If
an ink tank is installed in the wrong slot,
printing will not execute normally.

• To ensure the correct flow of ink from the ink

tank, never touch the ink port on an ink tank.

• Replace empty ink tanks without removing

the Printhead from the Printhead holder.

• Discard the empty ink tank according to the

local laws and regulations regarding
disposal consumables.
