Cause
Cause of following may have occurred failure of automatic print head alignment.
• Print head nozzles are clogged.
• Size of paper loaded is incorrect.
• Paper output slot is exposed to strong light.
What to Do
Press the printer's OK button and take the corresponding actions below.
• Check the print head condition by printing the nozzle check pattern.
If there are missing lines or horizontal white streaks in the pattern, the print head nozzles are clogged.
Clean the print head.
• Load the correct size paper and perform automatic print head alignment again.
• Adjust your operating environment and/or the position of the printer so that the paper output slot is not
exposed directly to strong light.
Important
• The highly permeable paper such as a backlight film or the plain paper are not available for automatic
print head alignment.
Use the lower permeable paper or the frequently used paper.
After carrying out the above measures, if the problem continues after aligning the print head again, press
the printer's
OK button, and then perform manual print head alignment.
