15.2 Media Specific Adjustments 

 
The media specific adjustments are for customers who want to precisely adjust the 
image quality per paper type that is registered in the machine. 
 

The following settings can be manually adjusted through the Settings Editor > 
Media > select a registered media type > Registration icon. The Settings Editor can 
only be accessed via a Web browser using the IP address of the Océ VarioPrint 
110. 
 
The IP address of the Océ VarioPrint 110 is found on the machine’s operator panel 
through System > Local key operator settings > Connectivity > TCP/IP address. 

 
The table below describes the Edit media registration settings and each setting’s 
description.

X image shift front (0.01 inches) 

Make a fine adjustment to enable printing with the correct 
alignment of the image from the leading edge of the paper 
in the feed direction on the front side. 
(From ±500 mm in 0.1 mm increments) 

X image shift back (0.01 inches) 

Make a fine adjustment to enable printing with the correct 
alignment of the image from the leading edge of the paper 
in the feed direction on the back side. 
(From ±500 mm in 0.1 mm increments) 

Z image shift front (0.01 inches) 

Make a fine adjustment to enable printing with the correct 
alignment of the image from the side edge of the paper 
perpendicular to the feed direction on the front side.

Z image shift back (0.01 inches) 

Make a fine adjustment to enable printing with the correct 
alignment of the image from the side edge of the paper 
perpendicular to the feed direction on the back side.

Make a fine adjustment to the margin of the image from 
the leading edge of the paper in the feed direction.

the side edge of the paper perpendicular to the feed 
direction. 
(From ±25 mm in 0.1 mm increments)

 

X elongation front (0.1 ‰) 

Make a fine adjustment to the image size from the feed 
direction on the front side. 
(From ±250% in 0.01% increments) 

X elongation back (0.1 ‰) 

Make a fine adjustment to the image size from the feed 
direction on the back side.
