Replace the upper fixing
assembly.

Replace the DC controller.
Checks
Disconnect the connector (J4) of the
fixing heater, and press the power
switch while holding down the service
mode switch. (This will reset E001;
about 2 sec later, the power switch will
turn OFF automatically.)
Let the fixing assembly cool, and
disconnect J47. Is the resistance
between J47-1 and -2 about 0 ý? Is
the resistance between J47-3 and -4
about 0 ý?
Replace the fixing heater driver. Is the
problem corrected?

driver PCB.
Checks
Disconnect the connector J4 of the
fixing heater, and press the power
switch while holding down the service
mode switch. (This will reset the error
code; about 2 sec later, the power
switch will be turned OFF automati-
cally.)
Is ‘E000’ indicated when the power
switch is pressed?
Are the wiring and connector connec-
tions from connectors J324A-1, 2, 5, 6
to J47 normal?
Replace the DC controller PCB. Is the
problem corrected?
