Select to search for printers by IPv6 address.
3. Search by host name
Select to search for printers by host name. A host name is referred to as LLMNR host name or
Bonjour name.
3. Enter IP address or host name and click Next .
Printer search starts.
If an error screen appears:
Resolve the error according to the instruction on the screen.
If the IP address you entered is already used for another device, follow the procedure below to specify
printer's IP address.
1. Select Setup on HOME screen.

3. Select LAN settings and press OK button.
If you specify the administrator password, enter the password.
4. Select Other settings and press OK button.
5. Select TCP/IP settings and press OK button.
If you specify IPv4 address:
1. Select IPv4 and press OK button.
2. Select Yes on displayed screen and press OK button.
3. Select IP address and press OK button.
4. Select Manual setup and press OK button.
Selecting Auto setup and pressing the OK button specifies the IP address automatically.
5. Enter IP address.
6. Select OK and press OK button.
7. Enter subnet mask.
8. Select OK and press OK button.
9. Enter default gateway.
10. Select OK and press OK button.
The IPv4 address has been specified.
