Cleaning the Print Head
If the printed result is faint, print head nozzles may be clogged with paper dust, etc. When nozzles are clogged,
perform print head cleaning.
IMPORTANT
• When printing is in progress or an error has occurred, cleaning cannot be performed.
• When cleaning is in progress, do not perform any other operation.
• Since cleaning consumes inks, clean only when necessary. Note that strong cleaning consumes more ink than
normal cleaning (light cleaning).
• The print head may become dried or clogged if the printer has not been used for a long time. Use the printer
periodically.
Normal Cleaning (Light Cleaning)

Open the printer driver setup window.

Perform light cleaning.

1. Click the [Utility] tab.
2. Click [ Light Cleaning].
A confirmation message will appear.
